We are seeking a dedicated Store & Directory Manager to oversee daily operations, manage business listings, and ensure an exceptional experience for both customers and vendors. This role involves onboarding paid businesses to our store and directory, resolving listing concerns, and driving overall growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability
Lead, train, and manage staff to maintain high performance
Add and onboard paid businesses to our store and The Nile directory
Assist businesses with listing issues, concerns, and optimization
Develop and implement strategies to increase vendor sign-ups and engagement
Maintain inventory levels and track product performance
Monitor and analyze sales and directory metrics to drive growth
Ensure an outstanding in-store and online experience for customers and vendors
Uphold Black Nile’s brand values and commitment to Black-owned businesses
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in retail management, sales, or directory management
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in business onboarding, vendor relations, or customer support
Proficiency in POS systems, CRM tools, and online listing platforms
Passion for Black entrepreneurship and community-driven business models
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
