About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Assistant to support the daily functions of The Nile. This role is essential in keeping our operations smooth, assisting with directory listings and vendor relations, managing data, and ensuring an excellent experience for both business owners and consumers on our platform.

As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks, vendor support, data organization, and platform management. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to ensure that The Nile runs efficiently and continues to grow.


Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with Wix, eCommerce platforms, or content management systems is a plus.

  • Familiarity with customer support tools, CRM systems, and email platforms.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Passion for supporting Black-owned businesses and economic empowerment.

  • Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new tools and platforms


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in administration, operations, or project management.

  • Familiarity with small business support, eCommerce operations, or vendor relations.

  • Background in marketing, business development, or event planning is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
