Opportunities are lighting up like summer skies, and your Black-owned business deserves a front-row seat (and the funding!). Ready to claim what’s yours? America’s Top 100 Small Businesses
America’s Top 100 Small Businesses are looking for the change-makers, the innovators, the problem solvers — the small businesses doing big things to drive growth and ingenuity, both locally and globally. Apply to our premier awards program, the CO—100, to earn your spot on our list of America’s top small businesses. Enter your business in up to five award categories spanning a broad range of specialties, including tech innovation, marketing excellence, global expansion, longevity, and company culture.
Eligibility:
Be a legal resident of the United States.
Be a for-profit business operating for at least one (1) year prior to May 4, 2024, primarily based within the United States.
Have fewer than 250 employees and gross revenues of less than $20 million for both 2023 and 2024.
Agree to all of the Award Rules, including potentially attending the award ceremony.
Amount: $25,000

Allstate Main Street Grants Program
The Allstate Main Street Grants Program, presented in partnership with Hello Alice and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), is here to support the small businesses fueling communities across the U.S. Through this program, 250 entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in a 12-week Boost Camp accelerator focused on helping business owners strengthen their operations, plan for growth, and improve financial stability. A select group of 63 participants will receive a $20,000 grant to invest in tools, growth strategies, or resources that strengthen their business operations. This program is your opportunity to build a stronger, more resilient business with the support of national experts, peers, and capital investment.
Eligibility:
A for-profit business registered and located in one of the fifty United States, D.C., or Puerto Rico
Not have participated in a Hello Alice Boost Camp in the past 12 months
Must have generated a minimum of $25,000 in revenue in 2024;
Have a demonstrated need for funding and access to business coaching; AND
Must be willing to participate in a virtual business Boost Camp starting in September 2025.

American Express: Backing Small Businesses Grant
This summer, the Backing Small Businesses grant program, supported by American Express, will offer 400 grants of $10,000 to locally significant small businesses pursuing projects that enhance long-term resilience, promote sustainable growth, and strengthen their positive impact within the community.
Eligibility:
The applicant must be an owner of the business.
The applicant must be at least 18 years of age or older.
The business must be in a “bricks-and-mortar” location and operate in an older or historic main street, downtown, or commercial district in the United States.
The business must have occupied their current bricks-and-mortar location since January 1, 2025. (Home-based businesses, even those located in historic neighborhoods, are not eligible. Brick and mortar businesses located outside of historic downtowns and commercial corridors, including, but not limited to, office parks and shopping malls are also not eligible.)
The business must be an independent business and not part of a franchise or a nonprofit.
The business must employ 20 or fewer full-time employees.
The business must have been in operation on or before January 1, 2024.
The business must be a business entity in good standing in the state in which it was formed and the state in which it does business.
The business must have an active business license, if required by state or local government. (Applicants may be asked to provide documentation if selected.) ·

Hello Alice X DoorDash Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund
DoorDash/Hello Alice Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund offers $10,000 grants to help restaurants recover from natural disasters, severe weather, or major infrastructure failures. Eligible applicants include U.S.-based restaurants, gastropubs, or bakeries with brick-and-mortar locations that have experienced revenue loss due to a declared disaster within the past 12 months.
Eligibility:
businesses must have no more than three locations
have been in operation for at least six months,
employ fewer than 50 people at each location
generate less than $3 million in annual revenue per location.

Monthly Amber Grant
Amber Grant to one outstanding woman-owned business. All business categories, including non-profits, are eligible. Our judges review each application before deciding on one monthly winner.
Eligibility: Women-owned businesses
Amount: $10,000
Deadline: Applications are accepted quarterly, with the current round open through July 7, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. ET.
The Breva Grant
The Breva Grant offers $5,000 to small-business owners on a quarterly basis. To qualify for this grant, your business must demonstrate its impact on its community, such as creating new jobs, innovating new products or making products and services more accessible.
Eligibility:
at least one year in business and be producing revenue (a minimum of $35,000 in annual revenue is preferred).
The company also prefers businesses that directly impact underrepresented communities.
Amount: $5,000
Deadline: Their applications are quarterly, and their third quarter open on July 1 and run through July 31, 2025.
The Spark Grant

Rémy Martin This is My City Grant Program
Rémy Martin’s This is My City grant program is seeking visionary artists, musicians, designers, DJs, radio personalities, fashion creatives, community space operators, and entrepreneurs who are driving cultural change and creating economic opportunities in their communities.

Deadline: July 18, 2025
Skip Growth Grant
The $5,000 Skip Growth Grant is open to U.S.-based entrepreneurs and small business owners who are at least 18 years old. Offered in partnership with Galaxy of Stars and Pink Print, the grant is designed to help applicants grow or launch their businesses. To apply, entrepreneurs must submit a completed application and upload a current business plan through the Skip platform.

SoGal Black Founder Startup Grant
SoGal Foundation has teamed up with Winky Lux, bluemercury, twelveNYC, Twilio, and other sponsors to make a small step towards progress by providing several $10K and $5K cash grants to Black women or nonbinary entrepreneurs.
Awardees will also receive tactical help navigating the fundraising environment at large so that they will have a more equitable opportunity at scaling the next billion dollar idea.
To qualify, you should:
– self-identify as a Black woman or Black nonbinary entrepreneur (inclusive of multiracial Black women and multiracial Black nonbinary folks)
– have a legally registered business
– plan to seek investor financing in order to scale, now or in the future
– have a scalable, high-impact solution or idea with the ambition to be the next billion dollar business.

Amber Grant Monthly Start-Up Grant
Amber Grant offers an additional grant opportunity: the WomensNet Startup Grant. We define a “startup” as a business still in the idea phase or one with minimal sales (under $10,000). While startups are eligible for our monthly Amber Grants, they created this additional grant to support this underserved sector.Monthly winners also qualify for the year-end $25,000 Amber Grant.

Our $2,500 quarterly micro grants provide non-dilutive funding, meaning you don't have to give away a portion of your business to get the financial support you need. These grants can be a lifeline, helping you cover essential expenses, invest in growth opportunities, and ultimately achieve stability and success. Companies must be active U.S. based businesses.
Eligibility:
In business for at least two years
Annual revenue of $50,000 or more (validation of income will be requested)
1-2 employees, including the owner

Amber Grant Business Category Grant
When you apply for the Amber Grant, you’re automatically considered for the $10,000 grant in the month you apply. If your business falls into one of our specific categories, you’re also eligible for a $10,000 Business Category Grant. Your application remains active for this category-specific grant for the next 12 months (based on the calendar below). So there’s no need to reapply.
