- Renewed Scents | Black Nile
< Back Renewed Scents by Samantha In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, experiencing the devastation and despair, Renewed Scents was created by a frontline hero, inspired to encourage everyone to seek daily self-care routines to combat stress, anxiety and tension. Renewed Scents was founded in 2020 by a dual-certified Adult and Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner. While the cruelty of the pandemic instilled fear among the masses, healthcare providers had to be brave enough to serve. We turned into the harbingers of hope. Gradually, the stress that we experienced on a day-to-day basis became more than we could handle. We were conquered by fatigue and overcome by our fear of the unknown, sanity seemed distant. With resiliency and courage I decided to detangle it all and utilize the knowledge that I gained while pursuing my education in the Psychiatric-Mental health field. I began researching self-care strategies that could assist myself, family members and co-workers in relieving stress. This journey led me to my love of fragrance! renewedscents@gmail.com . 1(678) 460-7901 Shop Brand

- Shanna Nicole | Black Nile
< Back Shanna Nicole Shop About Artist Shanna Nicole’s art is a testament to the complexity of womanhood, capturing the raw, unspoken emotions that shape our experiences—be it stress, love, body image, or relationships. Through her work, she explores the depths of what it means to be a woman, embracing both the beauty and the hardship of this journey. At 23, as a Black woman, Shanna has felt the intense extremes of love and hate. Yet, she is compelled to share her story, alongside the stories of countless women whose struggles and triumphs resonate deeply across time and space. From an early age, she often faced a sense of hopelessness in the face of the challenges women endure. Yet, through her paintings, she has found a powerful form of agency, creating a space where their voices can be heard. Each piece is an invitation for others to see themselves, to feel something true and shared. It is her hope that at least one of her works speaks directly to the soul of the viewer, offering connection and understanding.
