Born and raised in Nigeria, her works are a juxtaposition of her past and present experiences drawing inspiration from the mundane and the extraordinary. Prior to pursuing artistry, she championed human rights causes and social justice issues working at nonprofits like Amnesty International USA, including a stint in diplomacy at the UN.
